About Dr. McGahey
“I grew up just outside of Toronto, Canada where I completed a Bachelor’s degree in Biological Sciences in 1994. I spent the next 4 years in Portland, Oregon completing my Doctor of Chiropractic degree and board certification in Physiological Therapeutics, before settling down in the Pacific Northwest.
My wife and I spend our free time enjoying the outdoors, hiking, snowboarding, and exploring the beautiful places along the coast. I love being a Chiropractor and having the opportunity to help so many people; I don’t think there is anything I would rather do.”
Dr. McGahey's Chiropractic Treatment Philosophy
Dr. McGahey takes a comprehensive approach to treatment. This means focusing on all components of a condition or injury, including joints, muscles, nerves, tendons and ligaments, as well as rehabilitation, home care, stretching and exercise.
“I think it’s important to manage both the joint and soft tissue components of a condition or injury if you want to achieve a significant, long-lasting result. Otherwise, the problem is likely to return.”
This approach can help improve results, decrease the time spent running to appointments, and get you back to enjoying your life more quickly.
